Benfica president Luis Felipe Vieira has reportedly spent the last two days in England to negotiate the transfer of Renato Sanches.
The 18-year-old midfielder has been strongly linked with a summer switch to Manchester United, with a £45m bid said to be in the offing.
According to O Jogo, Vieira's presence in Manchester has indicated that the deal is drawing closer to completion.
The report adds that a series of meetings have taken place involving Vieira, the player's agent Jorge Mendes and United vice-chairman Ed Woodward.
Sanches has found the net twice from his 28 outings this season.
