Everton allegedly move ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot during the next transfer window.

Everton are reportedly regarded as the new favourites to win the race for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Despite opting to move to Turin on a free transfer last summer, Rabiot has endured an indifferent first campaign with the Italian giants.

At a time when Juventus have looked to make financial cutbacks due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has been claimed that the Frenchman could be allowed to leave during the next transfer window.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, there is an 80% chance of the former Paris Saint-German player making the switch to a Premier League club.

The report hints that Everton are regarded as the most likely destination for the 25-year-old, who has previously worked with Carlo Ancelotti at Parc des Princes.

Nevertheless, Manchester United, as well as Newcastle United, are also said to be contenders to agree a deal with Juventus, providing that they are willing to pay in excess of £25m.
