Ecuadorian defender Frickson Erazo has claimed that he has had "initial contact" with Manchester United over a possible move.
The 24-year-old currently plays his club football in his homeland with champions Barcelona SC.
"It's really flattering that big European clubs are watching football in my country, but if you think about playing with Real Madrid or Manchester United you risk losing concentration," tuttomercatoweb quotes Erazo as saying.
"It's true that there was initial contact, but it will not help if my performance drops."
Erazo has won 21 caps for Ecuador following his debut in 2011.
