Dean Henderson will reportedly demand an exit from Manchester United if he is not guaranteed the number one jersey for the 2021-22 campaign.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a successful two years on loan at Sheffield United and starred for the Blades in their impressive 2019-20 season, but he has struggled to get a look-in at United.
Indeed, Henderson has played just 12 games across all competitions this season - three in the Premier League - and he is said to be frustrated at playing second fiddle to David de Gea.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the England international will therefore head for the Old Trafford exit door unless Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes him his new first-choice goalkeeper for next season.
The report claims that if the club were to sanction an exit for Henderson, they would ask any potential suitors to fork out £40m, with Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and West Ham United all believed to be monitoring the situation.
The shot-stopper penned a contract extension with the Red Devils until the end of the 2024-25 campaign last summer.
