Juventus have reportedly moved a step closer to signing Matteo Darmian, with the Manchester United defender scheduled to undergo a medical.
Over the past 12 months, Darmian has been frequently linked with a return to Italy after falling down the United pecking order since the arrival of Jose Mourinho.
Last month, it was claimed that a deal had been agreed between the two clubs, with Juventus prepared to pay £12m to push through a transfer.
According to Sport Italia, Darmian will undergo a medical on Friday and it could potentially lead to the transfer being announced in the near future.
Darmian has spent the last three years at Old Trafford with 85 appearances being made in all competitions, but just seven starts came in Premier League and Champions League fixtures during the most recent campaign.
