Gianluigi Buffon reportedly rejected interest from Manchester City and Manchester United before rejoining Juventus.
The veteran goalkeeper made the surprise decision to return to the Allianz Stadium earlier this month, almost exactly a year on from leaving for Paris Saint-Germain.
Buffon departed PSG after failing to hold down a regular starting spot in goal and, according to the Daily Mail, that played a big part in his decision to turn down a move to Manchester.
Both English clubs were supposedly prepared to offer double what he is earning at Juventus, but he acknowledged that he would have had limited playing time at both City and United.
As part of his agreement with Juventus, it is claimed that the 176-cap Italy international will play at least 10 matches next season.
