Barcelona are reportedly hoping to sign teenage attacker Ansu Fati to a new contract in order to ward off interest from Manchester United.
The 17-year-old has been a regular for Barca during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring eight times in 32 appearances in all competitions, including seven in 24 La Liga outings.
United are believed to be interested in signing the youngster, who only penned a new three-year deal at Camp Nou towards the end of last year.
However, according to Sport, the Catalan giants are preparing to offer Fati fresh terms which will include a rise in salary, in addition to an increase in his release clause from £144m to £274m.
The report claims that as well as United, Borussia Dortmund have approached the club over a potential deal, but Barca were quick to reject the interest from the German giants.
Fati became the youngest first-team goalscorer in Barca's history when he netted against Osasuna in La Liga at the age of 16 years and 304 days last August.
