Team News: Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet dropped for Manchester United clash

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet is dropped for their trip to Manchester United in the Premier League.

Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet has been dropped for today's clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The Belgian international has been replaced by Brad Jones, who makes his first appearance of the season in the Premier league.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has made a further three changes to his starting lineup following their costly Champions League draw with Basel in midweek, with Alberto Moreno, Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana all returning.

Rickie Lambert, Lazar Markovic and fit-again Mario Balotelli are among the substitutes for the visitors.

Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal welcomes back Jonny Evans and Phil Jones in defence, while youngster James Wilson starts up front for the Red Devils.

Ander Herrera, Adnan Januzaj and Radamel Falcao all have to settle for a place on the bench.
