Team News: Radamel Falcao drops out for Manchester United

Angel di Maria replaces Radamel Falcao in the Manchester United starting lineup for their clash against Southampton.

Radamel Falcao has been omitted from the squad for Manchester United's clash against Southampton this afternoon.

The Colombian has been replaced in the starting lineup by the fit-again Angel di Maria, which means captain Wayne Rooney is likely to partner Robin van Persie up front.

Elsewhere, Daley Blind has returned from a knee injury that has kept him sidelined since November, with Michael Carrick moving into the back three.

As for the visiting Saints, Nathaniel Clyne has overcome an ankle problem to start, while their is also a debut for Werder Bremen loanee Eljero Elia.
