Premier League in numbers: Week 25

Sports Mole looks back on the 25th round of Premier League encounters with a series of facts and figures from each encounter.

Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal

The Gunners had not lost any of their previous six Premier League trips to Anfield.

As for Liverpool, this was the first time that they had scored five goals against the North Londoners since 1964.

Their striker, Daniel Sturridge, took his tally for the season to 15 goals in 17 outings.

Aston Villa 0-2 West Ham United

West Ham's Kevin Nolan has scored five goals in as many Premier League outings.

The midfielder's brace means that he has now found the net against Villa on seven occasions, which is more than he has scored against any other club.

The Villans have collected just 11 points from a possible 39 at home.

Chelsea 3-0 Newcastle United

Eden Hazard's hat-trick was the first that he had scored in Chelsea colours.

It was a contribution that also ensured that Jose Mourinho's unbeaten record in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge continued. No team has beaten the Portuguese coach there in 73 matches.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have failed to score in six of their last seven encounters.

Crystal Palace 3-1 West Bromwich Albion

Crystal Palace's Joe Ledley and Thomas Ince, as well as West Brom's Thievy Bifouma all scored on their debuts at Selhurst Park.

It took Bifouma, who came on as a substitute, just 36 seconds to score his first goal for the club.

The Baggies have kept just one clean sheet since the start of November.

Norwich City 0-0 Manchester City

Chris Hughton's Norwich have now managed to keep three clean sheets from their last four fixtures.

Visiting Man City had 15 attempts at goal, but only two of them forced John Ruddy into making a save.

In the six previous meetings between the two teams before this 0-0 draw, 37 goals were scored.

Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

Peter Crouch scored what was his 85th Premier League goal, taking him above the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Torres.

Of those 85, the Stoke centre-forward has scored 42 with his head.

The result means that all four of the Premier League matches between these two clubs have ended in draws.

Sunderland 0-2 Hull City

Sunderland defender Wes Brown had only been sent off once before this season, but his dismissal against Hull took his tally for the campaign to three.

The Black Cats have now been issued with six red cards this term, which is more than any other club has received.

Nikica Jelavic's goal for Hull ended a drought for the Croatian that dated back 1018 minutes.

Swansea City 3-0 Cardiff City

The defeat was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's fourth as manager of Cardiff - he's only won one Premier League match.

The Bluebirds have also not won any of their last 10 Premier League encounters away from the Cardiff City Stadium.

Talking of home comforts, all eight of Wilfried Bony's goals for the Swans in England's top flight have been scored at the Liberty Stadium.

Manchester United 2-2 Fulham

United's 81 crosses is the most attempted by any Premier League side since Opta started to compile statistics in 2006.

However, they conceded the first goal for the 13th time in 25 outings this season.

Old Trafford is a happy hunting ground for Fulham striker Darren Bent, who scored for the fourth time there in his last five visits.
