Crystal Palace's Wilfried Zaha has suggested that he failed to make an impact at Manchester United due to the behaviour of David Moyes.
Zaha was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson before the Scot's retirement, and the winger was restricted to just four appearances by Moyes before being loaned out to Cardiff City.
The then-youngster received criticism for not progressing his career at Old Trafford, but Zaha has now made the decision to speak about his time with United.
The 26-year-old has claimed to the Daily Mail that Moyes criticised his off-the-pitch preferences, while it is also suggested that Moyes gave conflicting instructions to the player.
Zaha also added: "When he took me out of the Champions League squad and put in Adnan Januzaj, who had never played for the first team, I knew then that this is way bigger than I ever thought and had gone way beyond footballing reasons. When it was not about football or ability, what could I do?"
Moyes was sacked before the end of his first season, while Zaha was loaned back to Palace before eventually penning a permanent deal with the Eagles.
