John Terry: 'Chelsea will push Manchester United for title'

Chelsea captain John Terry insists that his side can stage a late title challenge if Manchester United slip up.

Chelsea captain John Terry has insisted that his side will challenge Manchester United for the Premier League title if the Red Devils drop points.

The defender believes that Champions League qualification is the priority but said that his club will push Sir Alex Ferguson's side to the end.

"Manchester United are a million miles away so we've just got to win our games, do our job and really push," talkSPORT quotes the former England man as saying.

"If we manage to go on a run and Manchester United drop points then they know better than anybody that we'll push.

"If we can get second place that would be fantastic but the main thing for us is to be playing Champions League football next year."

Chelsea currently sit in third place in the Premier League, 16 points behind United.
