Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney has been included on the 55-man shortlist for the 2015 FIFPro World XI.
The 30-year-old's performances have been heavily scrutinised over the last few months, yet he still became his country's leading goalscorer of all time earlier this year and he is also closing in on the same record with his club.
Rooney has been nominated alongside his United teammate David de Gea, who often identified as one of the best goalkeepers in the world at present.
Chelsea's John Terry, Eden Hazard and Branislav Ivanovic have also been included, as have the Manchester City quartet of Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, David Silva and Vincent Kompany.
The other Premier League representative is Arsenal's Chilean attacker Alexis Sanchez.
