Manuel Pellegrini expects four teams to battle for Premier League title

Manuel Pellegrini believes that the Premier League title race will come down to Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes that there will be four clubs left standing towards the end of the Premier League season.

While the Chilean boss has claimed that six teams are currently challenging for the top spot in the table, he thinks that Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool will fall away.

"The Premier League is very close this year," the Manchester Evening News quotes Pellegrini as saying.

"There are six clubs challenging, with very little difference between one team and another.

"We have a lot of points to fight for, and I think at the end it will be between Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City."

City are currently eighth in the standings after 11 games.
