Jose Mourinho downplays Manchester United's injury list

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insists that Manchester United will be "more than ready" for Saturday's fixture despite their growing injury list.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has described Manchester United's squad as "amazing" ahead of their Premier League showdown at Stamford Bridge.

United boss Louis van Gaal has revealed that four key players will be absent for the game on Saturday evening, but Mourinho has insisted that the Old Trafford outfit will be "more than ready" for the fixture in West London.

The 52-year-old told reporters: "Their squad is amazing, both in numbers and quality.

"I sat down this week to analyse the opponents and I realise what they have. Van Gaal is a fantastic coach and they are more than ready."

Chelsea currently lead the Premier League table by seven points, while United trail Arsenal in second place by just a point.
