Manchester United reportedly intend to fine Angel di Maria two weeks' wages after he failed to show up to the club's pre-season tour of the United States.
The Argentine was expected to rejoin the team in San Francisco last weekend after being given an extended break following the Copa America in Chile.
However, the 27-year-old never showed up and manager Louis van Gaal admitted earlier this week that he had no idea where his player was.
The former Real Madrid star is on the verge of sealing a £44m move to Paris Saint-Germain, but before he arrives in the French capital, United will dock him around £360,000, according to the Daily Star.
The report adds that Van Gaal feels embarrassed and humiliated by Di Maria's decision not to show his face.
