Barcelona to delay Pedro's move to Manchester United?

Barcelona will reportedly delay Pedro's move to Manchester United, which will result in the Spaniard missing the Red Devils' season opener against Tottenham Hotspur.

Barcelona have reportedly decided to delay Pedro's move to Manchester United, meaning that the Spaniard would miss the start of the Premier League season.

The 28-year-old is believed to be an attacking target for United following the departure of Robin van Persie to Fenerbahce.

With Angel di Maria expected to finalise a £44m move to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days, widespread reports have claimed that Pedro will make his way to Old Trafford.

However, according to The Express, Barcelona will only allow Pedro to leave Camp Nou after their Super Cup match against Sevilla on August 11 as they are concerned about the fitness of Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Should the Spanish giants delay the move, Pedro will not be available for United's opening game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur on home turf on August 8.
