Manchester United duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo both escape retrospective punishment from the FA following incidents during their 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.

Manchester United duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo have escaped retrospective punishment from the Football Association following incidents during Wednesday's 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Ibrahimovic was accused of elbowing Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye - an incident that was not seen by the referee at the time.

However, three former elite referees did not unanimously agree that the incident was worthy of a retrospective red card, meaning that the Swede - who scored a late winner for the Red Devils - will not miss any game time.

Rojo, meanwhile, was shown a yellow card by referee Craig Pawson following a two-footed challenge on Wilfried Zaha but could not have that upgraded to a red card due to the incident being dealt with at the time.

Rojo's tackle came just 10 days after a similar challenge on Everton's Idrissa Gueye, neither of which the midfielder saw red for.
