Manchester United have denied that they have already appointed Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal as their manager for next season.
Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf reported on Saturday that the 62-year-old has agreed to take over the first-team duties at Old Trafford.
"There is nothing to report," Goal.com quotes a United spokesman as saying.
"We have not signed a new manager. When we have something to announce, we will announce it."
Ryan Giggs has been put in charge of the first team for the rest of the season following the dismissal of David Moyes on Tuesday.
