Manchester United's Phil Jones has admitted that he feels "frustrated" by how his season has been marred by injury.
The 21-year-old was put on the sidelines for three months at the start of the campaign with back and knee issues, while he was also forced out of the Champions League second leg against Real Madrid with an ankle injury.
"It has been frustrating," Sky Sports News quotes Jones as saying. "Certainly at the start of the season. It was tough as I had a back injury and then, in the first or second training session back, I injured my knee again.
"It was kind of one thing after the next and I felt like 'is this sort of thing going to end?' Thankfully, I got over that and played in quite a few games and I think I've done reasonably well towards the back end of the season."
The former Blackburn Rovers player, who helped United clinch their 20th league title last week, has also claimed that he aims to add more goals to his game.
