Manchester City centre-back Nicolas Otamendi is reportedly keen to discuss his future at the club with head coach Pep Guardiola.
Otamendi penned a new contract with City earlier this year and was named in the PFA Team of the Year for the 2017-18 campaign following an impressive season.
The 30-year-old has only made three Premier League appearances for the Citizens this season, however, with Guardiola favouring John Stones and Aymeric Laporte.
Indeed, Otamendi has not made a single league appearance for City since the end of September and failed to make the matchday squad against either Southampton or Manchester United.
According to The Sun, Otamendi wants talks with Guardiola to determine whether he has a future at the Etihad Stadium, and both Real Madrid and Barcelona are closely monitoring developments.
Otamendi has made over 140 appearances for City since a 2015 move from Valencia.
