Manchester City will not pursue a deal for Real Madrid attacker Isco, according to a report.

Manchester City are reportedly not interested in pursuing a deal for Real Madrid attacker Isco.

Isco has struggled for regular action since Santiago Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui as head coach earlier this season, leading to suggestions that the 26-year-old could leave the Bernabeu.

City, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with the Spain international, but according to the London Evening Standard, the reigning Premier League champions are not in the hunt for Isco's signature.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Chelsea were preparing a £70m bid for the versatile playmaker.

Isco has faced whistles from the Los Blancos supporters this season, and reportedly refused to accept the captain's armband during the recent Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow.
