Team News: Sergio Aguero passed fit for Manchester City

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is passed fit for his side's Premier League clash at Burnley.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been passed fit for his side's Premier League clash at Burnley.

Boss Pep Guardiola revealed in Friday's press conference that Aguero had a problem with his toe but he has been named in the starting lineup for the game at Turf Moor.

However, Guardiola has decided to rest a number of his key players, with both Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva only on the bench and John Stones missing out completely.

Nolito and Yaya Toure have come into the team in their place, while Aleksandar Kolarov is in line to start in the centre of defence.

As for Burnley, goalkeeper Tom Heaton misses out through injury so former Leeds United and Blackburn Rovers stopper Paul Robinson is drafted in to make his debut.

Sam Vokes has been given the nod in attack, with Andre Gray remaining on the bench, while George Boyd is preferred to Scott Arfield.

Burnley: Robinson, Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward, Defour, Marney, Boyd, Hendrick, Gudmundsson, Vokes
Subs: Pope, Flanagan, Kightly, Gray, Barnes, Tarkowski, Arfield

Manchester City: Bravo, Sagna, Otamendi, Kolarov, Clichy, Fernandinho, Fernando, Yaya Toure, Sterling, Nolito, Aguero
Subs: Caballero, De Bruyne, Silva, Zabaleta, Navas, Sane, Iheanacho
