Team News: Manchester City make three changes, Yoan Gouffran starts for Newcastle United

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini makes three changes for his side's clash with Newcastle United, as Pablo Zabaleta, Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando all start.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has made three changes from the team that defeated Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 on Wednesday for his side's clash with Newcastle United this afternoon.

Pablo Zabaleta comes in at right-back in place of Bacary Sagna, while Eliaquim Mangala replaces Martin Demichelis to play alongside Nicolas Otamendi at centre-back.

Yaya Toure misses out through injury, with Brazilian midfielder Fernando named to start in his place. Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Fabian Delph all remain absent through injury.

Visitors Newcastle United have made one change to the side that drew 2-2 with Chelsea last weekend, as Yoan Gouffran replaces Jack Colback, who has a calf problem.
