Alex Teixeira is reportedly keen on joining Liverpool after the Premier League club made a bid for the Shakhtar Donetsk playmaker.
Jurgen Klopp is believed to have placed Teixeira, who has previously been linked to Chelsea, at the top of his wishlist.
The Reds are reported to have launched a £25m bid, and chief executive Ian Ayre recently flew to Florida to have talks with Donetsk at their warm-weather training base.
According to Goal.com, Teixeira wants to move to Anfield in the hope of boosting his chances of getting a call-up to the Brazil national team.
The playmaker is believed to be confident that a deal will be agreed before the transfer deadline next week.
