Liverpool outcast Lazar Markovic could reportedly seal an exit from the club before the transfer window shuts tonight.
The 24-year-old has not made a competitive appearance for the Reds since May 2015, one year after he joined the club from Benfica in a £20m transfer.
Since then the Serbian has been shipped out on loan to Fenerbahce, Sporting Lisbon, Hull City and Anderlecht after failing to work his way into manager Jurgen Klopp's plans.
Liverpool have been looking to sell the player on for some time, but mooted moves to the likes of Olympiacos and Fiorentina have failed to materialise.
According to The Mirror, however, Klopp's side are now in talks with Besiktas over a potential deal and are hopeful of getting it over the line before 11pm.
Markovic, who has also been linked with a move to Mexico this month, now has less than six months remaining on his contract and it is thought that Liverpool are prepared to accept a "nominal" fee for his signature.
