Manchester City reportedly have a strong interest in signing Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic, ahead of the upcoming transfer windows.
Citizens boss Pep Guardiola is keen to recruit a new centre-forward following the departure of club legend Sergio Aguero over the summer.
Since their attempts to sign Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane were rebuffed, the club have been looking at cheaper alternatives and have identified Vlahovic as one of their main targets.
According to Tuttosport, City are 'active' in the race to sign the 21-year-old and are closely monitoring his performances in Serie A.
Guardiola's side, however, are not the only club interested in the Serbian's services, as the likes of Spurs, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus are also monitoring his situation.
Vlahovic, who has less than two years remaining on his contract, recently rejected a new deal offered to him by La Viola, who have now placed a £76.5m price tag on the striker.
