Liverpool are reportedly close to completing a deal for French Under-19 international Enzo Valentim.
The 18-year-old currently plies his trade in Ligue 2, having made 36 appearances for Stade Reims but mostly featuring for their reserve squad.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool are keeping tabs on Valentim and hope to conclude a deal.
The report adds that the Reds will have to fend off interest from Championship sides Stoke City and Leeds United, the latter having expressed a strong desire to sign Valentim.
The right-back would become the third acquisition for Liverpool's development squad this summer, following the multi-million pound signings of 16-year-old Harvey Elliott and 17-year-old Sepp van den Berg.
