Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly resigned to Adam Lallana leaving the European Cup holders on a free transfer at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The attacking midfielder will see his current deal at Anfield expire in June 2020, meaning that he will be free to discuss terms with foreign clubs at the start of January.
According to The Telegraph, Klopp is desperate for the Englishman to sign a new one-year deal, but Lallana's desire for first-team football is likely to see him seek pastures new next summer.
The report claims that a number of English and foreign clubs are interested in signing the former Southampton youngster, and a mutual parting is likely to take place following the expiration of his deal.
Lallana, who has had his injury problems in recent seasons, has only made nine Premier League appearances for the Merseyside giants during the current campaign.
The 31-year-old has been involved in four of Liverpool's last six Premier League matches but has not completed 90 minutes of top-flight football for his club this term.
