Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly looking for a way out of Arsenal at the end of the season.
The Gabon international, who currently wears the armband for the Gunners, has scored 56 goals in 89 appearances since arriving at the Emirates Stadium from Borussia Dortmund.
The 30-year-old has managed 15 goals in 24 outings in all competitions this season, meanwhile, despite his team's struggles.
Aubameyang's current deal will expire at the end of next season, though, and according to The Telegraph, his future in London is far from secure.
The report claims that new head coach Mikel Arteta is attempting to convince the striker to remain at the club, but the skipper's desire to play Champions League football could see him seek pastures new.
Aubameyang scored his 13th Premier League goal of the season against Chelsea on Sunday, but Frank Lampard's side scored twice in the latter stages to secure a 2-1 victory at the Emirates Stadium.
Next up for Arteta's side is a home game against Manchester United on New Year's Day.
