Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Aston Villa

Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

Liverpool will aim to reignite their Premier League title charge when Aston Villa welcome them to the West Midlands for Tuesday's clash.

Jurgen Klopp's side were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw against Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend, with Son Heung-min's opener being cancelled out by Luis Diaz.

The Reds temporarily returned to the top of the rankings on goal difference, but Man City have now moved three points clear with victory over Newcastle United on Sunday.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Reds legend Steven Gerrard and his crop.

Roberto Firmino

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: May 10 (vs. Villa)

Roberto Firmino was back in training before the Tottenham draw after battling his way back from a foot problem but was not risked for the contest. The Brazilian should have a strong chance of coming back in midweek, but Klopp also has the FA Cup final to take into account.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this match.
