Mohamed Salah is in Liverpool's starting lineup for the trip to Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon.

The Egyptian is included from the start after scoring two from the bench in Wednesday's 3-0 victory over Stoke City, representing one of six changes from Jurgen Klopp.

Roberto Firmino retains his place up front alongside Salah and Philippe Coutinho, who is preferred to Sadio Mane this afternoon.

Elsewhere, captain Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andrew Robertson come in, replacing Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip - who sustained an injury at the bet365 - and Alberto Moreno.

Ragnar Klavan returns to the squad following illness but is not involved from the outset.

The hosts, meanwhile, have two changes from the XI that played out a goalless draw with Crystal Palace during the week.

Gaetan Bong is recalled after missing the last game with a knee injury, while Isaiah Brown also starts. Jose Izquierdo drops to the bench to make way, while Markus Suttner is missing altogether.

Liverpool can move into the top four in the Premier League table if they can get the better of a Seagulls side unbeaten at home in six games.
