Liverpool's Jordon Ibe: 'The team are angry after losing to Crystal Palace'

Liverpool starlet Jordon Ibe says that the team are "angry" after they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday.

Liverpool youngster Jordon Ibe has revealed that the team are "angry" after suffering their first defeat under new manager Jurgen Klopp.

The Reds suffered a 2-1 loss to Alan Pardew's side at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

Yannick Bolasie opened the scoring after 20 minutes, but Philippe Coutinho managed to respond before half time with an equaliser.

With just eight minutes of normal time remaining, Scott Dann, who is a Liverpool fan, scored to give Palace all three points.

"It's disappointing, everybody's angry," Ibe told the club's official website. "We played alright and we created chances to get the goals but it just didn't come.

"We didn't start the best, it's just improving on that and starting from the first minute, keeping the ball, keeping composure, building into the game and trying to win.

"[It's a] new manager, new system, we're just trying to build and keep the confidence in the team. Obviously losing today will have an effect on some players but we just need to keep it going and hopefully we can win the next game."

Since Klopp took charge of Liverpool, the team have secured three victories, three draws and one defeat.
