Daniel Sturridge has said that he is "happy to be back" after making his return to training with Liverpool earlier today.
The striker has not played since injuring his hamstring while on England duty in August, while his recovery has been hampered by a calf injury sustained in training last month.
After taking part in a session with those not involved in internationals this morning, the 25-year-old wrote on Twitter: "Training was class. Happy to be back."
Sturridge has previously said that he will be ready to face Crystal Palace in the Premier League after the international break.
