Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: 'Rubin Kazan tie will be tough'

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp states that an away trip to Rubin Kazan represents a big challenge for his team, ahead of the Reds' Europa League clash with the Russian side.

Jurgen Klopp has stated that Liverpool's away clash against Rubin Kazan will be a big challenge for the Reds.

The German's side drew 1-1 with the Russian outfit at Anfield in the reverse of this fixture two weeks ago, despite playing more than half of the tie with an extra man.

"It is not always the biggest advantage to play 11 against 10 and Rubin Kazan did well on that evening, of course," Klopp told reporters in advance of the fixture.

"As I remember, we had our chances and the best moments from Kazan were for sure in the first half when they were 11 against 11.

"It's not a problem, it's football. We know that it's pretty hard tomorrow so that's why we are here, that's why for us the Europa League is a very, very big challenge because all of these teams in this tournament have their targets. But we have our targets and that's the only thing I am interested in."

The Reds currently sit second in Group B, leading Rubin Kazan by one point ahead of their trip to the Tsentralnyi Stadion.
