Lithuania in control as San Marino are brushed aside

Lithuania comfortably beat San Marino 2-0 in their Euro 2016 Group E qualifier.

Lithuania got their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign off to a successful start with a comfortable 2-0 win over San Marino this evening.

Deivydas Matulevicius put Lithuania ahead just five minutes after kickoff as the away side started in confident fashion.

Winger Arvydas Novikovas then doubled Lithuania's advantage on 36 minutes.

Next up for San Marino in Group E is a trip to Wembley to face England on October 9.
