Leicester City have not made a third bid for Watford striker Troy Deeney, contrary to recent reports.
The Foxes were rumoured to have made two bids for the forward, each exceeding £6m, which were both rejected.
However, Leicester actually only made one £6.5m offer for Deeney, according to Sky Sports News.
Other Premier League sides are believed to be keeping an eye on the prolific striker as Hull City look for a replacement for Shane Long and Queens Park Rangers seek to bolster their front line before the window slams shut at the end of August.
Deeney is rumoured to have been frustrated with Watford director of football Gianluca Nani for blocking his exit.
