Derby County have reportedly beaten Championship rivals Nottingham Forest to the signature of Leicester City veteran Andy King.
The 30-year-old has spent his entire senior career with the Foxes, during which time he has won the League One title, Championship title and most memorably, the Premier League title during the historic 2015-16 season.
King has gradually fallen out of favour at the King Power, however, and manager Claude Puel has indicated that he can leave the club this month after making just one appearance this term.
Promotion-chasing Forest and Derby have been among the frontrunners for the Wales international, and according to Sky Sports News, the Rams have won the race in the final throes of the transfer window.
The broadcaster says that King is en route to Derby to undergo a medical and finalise a deal that will see him link up with Frank Lampard's side on loan until the summer.
King is 10th on Leicester's all-time appearances list, having notched up 378 outings in all competitions since 2007.
