Leicester City right-back Danny Simpson is reportedly not part of Claude Puel's plans and will be offered the chance to leave before the transfer window closes.
The 31-year-old was made to turn out for the club's Under-23s on Wednesday evening at the same time that the first team were playing out a 1-1 draw with Valencia.
Simpson, a part of Leicester's title-winning side three seasons ago, has been dogged by injury during the off-season and restricted to just one senior outing.
Sky Sports News claims that the Manchester United academy product will not be included in Puel's 25-man Premier League squad this season, and City are therefore willing to listen to any offers.
Andy King, who also featured for the Under-23s in midweek, is another who faces an uncertain future at the King Power Stadium.
