Team News: Danny Drinkwater among Leicester City recalls

Championship Player of the Year nominee Danny Drinkwater is among five players recalled by Leicester City for their clash with Sheffield Wednesday at the King Power Stadium.

Danny Drinkwater has been recalled by league leaders Leicester City for their Championship match with Sheffield Wednesday at the King Power Stadium tonight.

The 24-year-old midfielder, who was nominated for the Football League Player of the Season, was rested for the 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic in midweek.

Dean Hammond scored a stoppage-time equaliser at the DW Stadium, but is dropped to the bench to accommodate Drinkwater, who is joined in the starting XI by Jeffrey Schlupp and Riyad Mahrez.

Lloyd Dyer and Paul Konchesky are replaced as Championship Manager of the Month Nigel Pearson changes his left side for a game which could take Leicester to within one win of promotion. Andy King and Liam Moore also miss out as Marcin Wasilewski and Matty James return.

Wednesday make two changes to the side that were thrashed 4-1 at home by Watford last time out, with Michail Antonio and Caolan Lavery recalled at the expense of Benik Afobe and Jeremy Helan.

Antonio has not played in the Owls' last 10 matches because of an injury but has been passed fit to feature in the East Midlands. Anthony Gardner, Reda Johnson and Kamil Zayatte remain sidelined.
