Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has hailed his teammate Jamie Vardy as the best striker in the Premier League
The 28-year-old is the leading goalscorer in the top flight with 10 goals in as many games, his latest strike coming in the Foxes' 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend.
"Personally from the day he stepped in the door I've been the biggest Jamie Vardy fan you can find," Schmeichel told Foxes Player. "He epitomises everything I love about football - his aggression, his mentality and the way he works for the team.
"He's added goals to his game and for me at the moment, on current form, he's the best striker in the Premier League right now."
Meanwhile, manager Claudio Ranieri has played down rumours that Vardy could leave the club in the next transfer window.
