Leeds United and Huddersfield Town have reached the midway point of a pulsating Yorkshire derby on level terms.
Huddersfield began the game on the front foot and went ahead on 12 minutes when Chris Atkinson ghosted into the Leeds penalty area before curling the ball beyond Paddy Kenny from a narrow angle.
Michael Tonge levelled the scores with a 25-yard strike on 35 minutes and Leeds were ahead just two minutes later when Luciano Becchio found the net from equally long range.
Former Leeds midfielder Adam Clayton squared the game again two minutes before half time with a confident penalty kick, after Becchio had brought down Anthony Gerrard.
