Leeds United travelled to Millwall for what is always a fiery clash in the Championship this afternoon.
The game turned out to be a bit of a damp squib as neither side really troubled the other but in the end it was Luke Varney's indiscipline that led to a Millwall win.
The Leeds frontman was dismissed for an apparent elbow on Adam Smith just after the break and Millwall eventually got the winner minutes from the end thanks to the head of Chris Wood.

A late victory for Millwall then, who extend their unbeaten run to 10 games while Leeds have now won just one of their last nine.

Oh wow. That is a woeful attempt. Tonge lines it up but blazes miles high and wide.

However, Diouf is hauled down right on the edge of the box and Leeds have a golden opportunity to snatch an equaliser.
You'd expect Millwall to be able to see this one out now as we approach the 90-minute mark.
The Lions at last break down Leeds as Lowry sends over a perfect cross from the left for Wood arriving at the back post to head home.
GOAL! MILLWALL FINALLY SCORE! WOOD!
The ball's in the back of the net but it won't count as Wood takes out Kenny on the goalline. Millwall make another change as Taylor is replaced by Dany N'Guessan.
Henry cuts inside from the right and finds Keogh but the Irishman tries to feed Trotter when he should have taken it on himself.
The Lions are certainly guilty of not testing Kenny. They've had 12 shots with just two on target.
Millwall look to break but Taylor can't divert Keogh's cross on target. It's all gone a little flat at The Den.
The Senegalese's free kick barely reaches the area though. Leeds aren't even pressuring Millwall with these set pieces.
Taylor clips McCormack and that'll be a booking for the Millwall winger. Leeds have a free kick around 40 yards from goal, right of centre. Diouf to take.
Just 15 minutes or so left then and still we await a real clear-cut opening.
Leeds have done well to restrict Millwall to longer shots and the Lions have another from Josh Wright but he slices way wide.
McCormack takes the free kick duty and wastes it by crossing far too long for everybody.
Diouf is excellent at frustrating the opposition as he slips past Henry who simply pushes the Senegalese out of the way to earn a booking.
The ball is teed up for Wood but his shot is blocked by the onrushing defence. We're into the final quarter of this match now, will we see a goal?
Yellow card for Green because of a late challenge on Trotter. Millwall free kick 26 yards out...
Tonge produces a wry smile after taking on a first-time volley from outside the area and finding the Leeds fans in the top tier.
Warnock makes that change and it's Hall who's coming off to be replaced by McCormack. Strong from the Leeds boss as he now has two strikers on the field even though the visitors are down to 10 men.
CLOSE! Henry has certainly made a difference since coming on and he cuts inside onto his weaker left foot and curls an effort that misses the target by inches. Fantastic effort.
CLOSE! Henry shows off his fresh legs by racing clear of Drury before finding Taylor who cuts inside and curls towards the far corner but once again Kenny isn't tested as the ball drifts wide.
Warnock is readying McCormack to come on so you'd expect Becchio to be the man to come off.
First substitution for Millwall as Feeney is replaced by James Henry, who is returning from injury today.
CHANCE! Feeney whips over a cracking cross from the right that Wood comes within inches of heading home before Trotter's cross is headed up and away by Peltier under his own crossbar.
Clever interplay between Taylor and Lowry results in the former sending over a first-time cross for Keogh, with Kenny making a comfortable save from the Irishman's flicked header.
Meanwhile, replays have just shown that a Leeds free kick five minutes or so ago could have resulted in a penalty as Lowry was virtually hugging Lees to prevent him getting up with a header.
CHANCE! Wood wins the ball off Green and has plenty of options around him but decides to shoot from the edge of the area. The Kiwi's effort isn't on target though and Kenny is still to make a proper save.
Leeds's chances of ending their poor run of form takes a massive blow and they'll now have to play over 40 minutes a man down.
It's a tough call for Halsey but Varney is dismissed for an elbow on Smith. The Leeds forward had a look towards the Spurs loanee before sticking his elbow out a little when backing in. I'm sure Warnock will see it as harsh but it's ever so silly from Varney.

Millwall get the second half underway.
The players are out for the second half. Who will grab the initiative in the early stages of the second 45? No changes for either side.
Expect the match to really open up in the second half. It has been end-to-end so far but neither side has troubled either keeper. Will Warnock bring on McCormack for some added firepower up front?

A slightly underwhelming half then. Leeds have perhaps had the best territory but Millwall the better chances. Neither side has yet had a true clear-cut opportunity.

Leeds try to grab a goal just before the break with a series of openings. First, Tonge sees his shot blocked before Forde drops a cross and Millwall manage to scramble to safety.
Two minutes added on.
Slight bit of trouble as referee Mark Halsey is told that one of his linesmen has been pelted with items from the crowd. Oh dear.
CLOSE! Keogh finds strike partner Wood down the right and the Kiwi returns to Keogh who fires first time towards the far corner but just misses the target.
Wood wins the ball and frees Keogh who decides to take it on himself from a tight angle, with Kenny making a comfortable stop at his near post.
Diouf floats over a free kick from the left but it's too close to Forde who punches away the danger.
Neat play from Millwall ends when Smith tries a speculative shot from distance that doesn't trouble Kenny.
Tonge concedes a corner which Taylor curls to the back post for Beevers, who sees his header cleared off the line.
Diouf almost picks out the run of Hall but he can't take it down and Forde collects.
Taylor picks out Wood with a clever cross but the forward was offside.
Varney does well to chase down Smith and his backpass is a little underhit but Forde is alive to the danger and sidesteps Varney before clearing.
Hall has a go from range but it's straight at Forde as we approach the half-hour mark in south east London.
Free-scoring midfield Trotter anticipates Wood's flick-on but slices his shot from 20 yards well wide of Kenny's goal.
CHANCE! Feeney has so much room to drive at the Leeds defence and he feeds Wood but the West Brom loanee's first touch is heavy and goes out for a goal kick.
Millwall have come into this a little more and Taylor, who really doesn't look like a footballer, tries to find Keogh with the cutback but it's read by Green. End-to-end at the moment.
There's a similar situation down the other end as Becchio completely miscues a pullback.
Leeds feel they should have a free kick but Millwall break and Keogh's cutback finds Taylor but he can't evade the challenge of Lees.
When these two meet there's always a fantastic atmosphere. One of the sets of fans has just sung "EHHHH" for a good two minutes constantly!
Leeds continue to pump balls into the box but this time Drury's centre is easily collected by Forde. Up the other end and Feeney cuts inside from the right but fires his shot well over.
Excellent cross by Hall is once again headed clear by Beevers just in front of his own keeper. Leeds have commanded the opening 10 minutes here.
Green's cross looks good for Leeds but it's headed away by Beevers before the Lions go down the other end and Wood works an opening for Smith but the Spurs loanee blazes high and wide.
Unsurprisingly, Diouf is already receiving his fair share of boos from the Millwall fans.
Tonge takes it on but it hits the head of Taylor in the wall.
Becchio evades a challenge and feeds Diouf who looks to break clear on goal but is scythed down by Beevers. Nasty, nasty challenge and that's a booking already. Leeds have a free kick just outside the box.

Whites manager Neil Warnock tells Sky Sports News that the return of McCormack is a massive plus while his opposite number Kenny Jackett says his side's improved performances are largely down to a stronger defence.
Prolific striker Ross McCormack has also made an earlier-than-expected return to the Leeds bench.
Leeds, meanwhile, make a host of changes to the side that were battered 6-1 by Watford last week, with Ryan Hall, Tom Lees, Luciano Becchio and Andy Drury all coming in.
One change for Millwall from last Saturday's win over Derby as Josh Wright comes in for Jimmy Abdou. James Henry returns from injury but is on the bench for the Lions.
