Alberto Paloschi struck a late equaliser as Chievo came from behind to hold Lazio to a 1-1 draw in their Serie A match this afternoon.
Antonio Candreva came close to giving the hosts the lead in the third minute when he fired a low free kick narrowly wide of the post.

Candreva was involved in all of his side's best moves and he soon fired another strike wide, before forcing Albano Bizzarri to beat away an effort from inside the box.
As the game edged past the half-hour mark, Candreva was denied again as his close-range attempt was turned behind by Bizzarri.
The keeper was then left stranded as Diego Novaretti fired a powerful strike towards the top corner that ended up heading inches over the bar.
On the stroke of half time, Lazio finally made their dominance count as Miroslav Klose raced down the left before cutting inside and clipping an effort over Bizzarri and into the far corner.
After the break, Ogenyi Onazi had a chance to double Lazio's lead, but he saw his low strike deflect narrowly wide of the post.

Against the run of play, Chievo almost grabbed an equaliser when Ruben Botta met Nicolas Frey's cross at the back post, only to direct his header inches over the bar.
Down the other end of the pitch, Keita Balde Diao forced Bizzarri to push behind his stinging effort as the hosts continued to look for a second goal.
However, they were caught out moments later as Paloschi found himself free at the back post and lashed in a powerful strike into the corner to bring his side level.
Paloschi then almost snatched the points for Chievo at the death, but his shot deflected wide of the post as the game finished on level terms.
