Ipswich Town's Luke Hyam expresses his delight following his first goal for the club.

Luke Hyam has described scoring his first goal for Ipswich Town as "a dream come true".

The 21-year-old achieved the feat during his boyhood club's 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest at Portman Road last night.

"I used to watch Ipswich from the Britannia Stand so to score my first goal at Portman Road in front of the Sir Bobby Robson Stand is a dream come true," he told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"It was an incredible moment. My family and friends were in the stands and you could tell by my celebrations that I lost my head a little bit.

"I would also like to thank the fans who have given me such great support. It means everything to me and I just want to repay their faith."

Hyam came through the Suffolk club's academy.
