Inter Milan have announced the signing of teenage winger Yann Karamoh from Caen.
Newcastle United and Southampton were strongly linked with moves for the 19-year-old on transfer deadline day, but Inter have swooped to land the teenager on a two-year loan.
"Yann Karamoh is a new Inter player! The French player has joined the Nerazzurri on a two-year loan until 30th June 2019 with the obligation to make the deal permanent," read a statement on Inter's official website.
"Welcome to the city of Milan, Yann and best of luck for this new adventure with the Nerazzurri!"
Karamoh, who scored five times in 36 appearances for Caen last season, was born in the Ivory Coast, but has represented France at every level from the Under-14s.
