Inter Milan have completed a deal for former Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian, the Italian club have announced.
After an underwhelming four years at Old Trafford, the 30-year-old made a switch to Serie A outfit Parma last summer, making 33 top-flight appearances in the 2019-20 campaign.
The move to Inter - city rivals of his first club AC Milan - is on an initial season-long loan deal with an obligation to make that permanent in summer 2021.
The agreed transfer fee is believed to be just £1.8m for the Italy international - a fraction of the £12.7m United paid for him in 2015.
Inter boss Antonio Conte has been particularly active in this year's summer transfer window, also bringing in the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Achraf Hakimi, Arturo Vidal and Aleksandar Kolarov.
