A first-minute strike from Daniel Ward was enough to earn Huddersfield Town all three points against Derby County this afternoon.
Ward made the breakthrough after just 47 seconds as he applied the finish to Adam Hamill's inviting cross.
Town came closest to adding to the solitary goal in the second half after Adam Clayton struck the post with a drive from distance.
Derby were unable to take their best chance of the match, which was spurned by Conor Doyle from close range.
Simon Grayson's side held on to record their second successive home victory this season.
