Felix Magath: 'Scott Parker back, Kostas Mitroglou still out'

Fulham manager Felix Magath confirms that Scott Parker will be fit to face Aston Villa on Saturday, but record signing Kostas Mitroglou remains injured.

Fulham manager Felix Magath has confirmed that Scott Parker is fit to face Aston Villa on Saturday, but Kostas Mitroglou will once again miss out for the club's away Premier League trip.

Magath admitted that Mitroglou's ongoing injury trouble was a concern but does expect the Greek international to play a part in Fulham's relegation battle, possibly next week.

"We have no more injuries but Scott Parker was back in training today, and Fernando Amorebieta will join us," he said in his pre-match press conference. "So we could play the same team as last week and maybe Scott Parker will go with us.

"Yeah sure, [Mitroglou] will recover. With injuries you see day by day, nobody knows how it works. So I look forward every week and, at the moment, I think that he will join us next week."

Fulham are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League, five points from safety.
