Martin Jol says that Fulham gave away "cheap goals" against Reading this afternoon.

Martin Jol has admitted that Fulham have not been good enough since reaching the 40-point mark in the Premier League.

The Cottagers lost 4-2 at home to Reading this afternoon, leaving them five points clear of Wigan Athletic having played a game more.

"The first half was not good enough by our standards," Jol told BBC Sport. "We gave away easy and cheap goals and we have to change that.

"We haven't been that good recently since getting the 40 points. We have to get some more points.

"We said our goal difference was probably a point but that has changed in the last few weeks so we need a couple more points."

Fulham entertain Liverpool at Craven Cottage next Sunday.
